Penning a thought.

Inside my head there's a wild riot-
Of dreams, expressions and a sudden thought.
I cast about for words that rhyme-
And string them together in no time.
But what if they do not make much sense?
Rhyming can go to hell..I drop all pretense.
Forgetting all about the work at hand-
I'm magically transported to an imaginary land,
Where I am free to spin marvellous tales-
About gallant men and picturesque vales.
There's never a dull moment or a forlorn me-
Whenever I write...it's pure ecstasy.

Tears Of Pain

Its all in a silent tear....which makes its way down....clenching the heart gripped in pain and unbearable agony...when night comes...and everything is calm..with no one around....it comes out from it hiding place bringing with it the first sense of being alive...it hurts! It hurts damn bad...drowning in the bottomless pit of agony i let my tears purge me...to cleanse my soul of all the wrongs done to me...i swear a thousand promises and a thousand more...but i succumb time after time...despite knowing the fate...and when the tears put up an appearance i know i have failed yet again...hurt increases manifolds and agony rips me apart....silence of the night is punctuated by my muted uncontrollable sobs....a never ending charade it is...tears!tears!tears it is, that makes an outlet of escape....betrayal, misconceptions, desertion all find escape through tears...tears of pain....puffy eyes and soggy pillow sheets..yes these are tears of pain...pain that makes your heart burn with anguish, the numbness that spreads through your veins and the tears that washes all desolation away...

Night after night...i toss and turn....i bury my face into the softness of my pillow and in comfort of my bed....i let the darkness soothe my senses....i let the go of the bottled emotion within me....i allow the memories to resurface..and the pain,flow....then wave after wave....in torrents they come....coursing its way down my face....i clutch my sheets...and let it all go...i let the tears flow....images flash in my eye...words ring in my ears....heart wrenches a notch more...i cling to my sanity....i hold on to the hope...i cry silently...as the pain and hurt overpowers me.....in the darkness of the night my grief finds expression in the tears of pain!

In the light if the day...tears of pain masqueraded in smiles and good cheer...pain is forgotten even if momentarily in chores and errands....laughter drowns the cries within...but when the day runs its course....and the night sets in.....with people turning in...their crawl out from their hiding places...tears of pain...soon the sobs subside...and slumber looms ahead threateningly...tears dry leaving its soggy trails...as a new day dawns...pain lurks into the retreating shadows...as i let myself drift into that sweet haven of respite from this harsh harsh world !!

........Forever

You came in. I wiped off my tears. You saw it all. Still you remained unmoved.Tickets, luggage everything was in place.

With each step, my life was drifting away from me.

Your words flashed across my mind. Those poignant words……“You cannot see my tears. That does not mean I don’t ever cry.”

I turned back, fathomed the depth of your eyes and vowed to be yours…Forever.

Ways to Keep yourself Healthy

Teenagers: How to Stay Healthy

Will the habits I have now really make a difference when I'm older?

Yes, 65% of all deaths in adults are caused by heart disease, cancer and stroke. In many cases, these diseases were preventable. Many of the behaviors that cause these diseases begin at a young age. For example, if you use tobacco as a teenager, you're more likely to get heart disease, cancer or stroke when you're an adult.

What can I do now to keep myself healthy?

  • Avoid using any type of tobacco product. Try not to breathe second hand cigarette smoke.
  • Get regular exercise.
  • Eat a healthy diet.
  • Always use your seat belt.
  • Don't drink and drive. Don't get into a car with a driver who has been drinking alcohol or using drugs.
  • Wear protective headgear, such as motorcycle or bike helmets, when participating in sports.
  • Never swim alone.
  • Talk to your parents or your doctor if you're feeling really sad or if you're thinking about harming yourself.
  • Avoid situations where violence or fighting may cause you to be physically injured.
  • If you have sex, use condoms to avoid pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. (Remember, however, the "safest" sex is no sex.)
  • See your doctor regularly.

What might my doctor do?

The doctor might do any of the following to help you stay healthy :
  • Determine your risk for certain health problems.
  • Measure your height, weight, cholesterol levels and blood pressure.
  • Order tests to check your general health or to find certain diseases.
  • Provide immunizations ("shots" or "vaccines") to reduce your risk of getting diseases such as mumps, tetanus and hepatitis.

At my age, what should I especially be concerned about?

Car accidents, unintentional physical injury, homicide and suicide are the top killers of teenagers and young adults. Cancer and heart disease can also affect you at this age. Unplanned pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases (including HIV and AIDS) can cause you social and personal problems, in addition to harming your health.

Do young men have different health risks than young women?

Yes. Young men don't wear seat belts as often as young women do. They're also more likely to carry weapons, to get into physical fights, to use smokeless tobacco or marijuana, to drink alcohol heavily, and to have more sexual partners. On the other hand, young women have some special risks. They try to commit suicide more often and they try to lose weight in harmful ways more often than young men.

Should I talk to my doctor if I'm worried about my health or my body?

Yes. It's important to talk to your doctor if you have any concerns about your health or your body. Your doctor is there to help you.

Change is the Only Constant

'People change, and forget to tell.'

(This is not a cribbing post but an enlightened one, you may carry on reading!)

Change is the only constant. Weathers change, times change, situations change. Change is the law of nature. Normal is boring. Each one of us needs a change in the course of time. Then why are PEOPLE excepted to not change? They are a portion of this Universe which is meant to change.

The world is like that as they say. One fine day, you wake up and realize that people close to you have changed. They are not as they used to be. It hurts inside. Doesn't it? Is that because of the expectations you have out of them? Probably yes.
Everyday, we meet new people. Life goes on. Some people stay, some leave. Of those, we chose the people who should stay and who should leave. There are times, when people we want to stay, leave. Also, there are times, when people we wanted to leave, stay.
It a circle. its the same for others. Some people want us to stay and some want us to leave. We choose to leave some, we stay with others.
Before you tell someone that they have changed, for one second consider. Question yourself. Are you the same for them? Haven't you changed a bit?

Every one a justification for the change they have brought in themselves. But when it comes to others, it gets in-digestible. Why do we expect others to remain the same for us if we have changed ourselves to them?
Not fair.

When people change, they grow up. They outgrow somethings and develop other things.
You may be a part of their world and may not be. Just like, you leave people behind.
I am not perfect. I hurt people. People hurt me too. But I grow up. Everyone does grow up. This could hurt initially, but we become used to it eventually.

Let people change. It is always for good.

Smile and Move On.

About Farah Khan Ali ( MY IDOL )

Farah Khan Ali.....the name itself speaks too much...
She is a sister, daughter, wife, friend, mother, lover and the endless list goes on...
Well professionally she is a Jewellery Designer and a Gemologist. She is been such an inspirational friend specially for me and for millions of people. She has very innovative ideas. She is Sussanne's ( Hrithik Roshan's wife ) sister.

It was on 12th December 2009 that I made my twitter account and I followed her firstly. I just normally send her a tweet that " How r u dear ? " and then I went to her profile and saw that she was replying to her friends, so i tweeted once again to her " Plz rpl to me too m wtng :) ". After sometime I got a Direct Message from her saying " Hello Darling..welcome to the world of tweeting n I shall reply u as many times as i can but sometime it gets hectic. " And let me tell you she has approx. 31,000 followers till now and she never lets her followers down, she replies to each and every person, if she is busy she will DM you.

I was pleased to get a DM frm her. From this day onwards we were in regular contact. On 18th Dec. it was my b'day and I cudn't believe that she wished me and even she told all her followers to wish me. This was my first great day. Then we were always in regular contact with each other.

It was April 2010. Farah was been chosen as " Wills Lifestyle Twitter Face ". Her addiction to twitter had so great effect. The Wills Lifestyle shows were to begin from 24th Apr. - 30th Apr.'2010. On 23rd she had to announce the passes for the shows and I was the luckiest one as I was the first one to get the pass for the show. I was really excited to meet her. Finally it was 24th Apr. and my excitement was too much that I can't describe it in words. I firstly met one of my friend Paavani there. Then at about 2.30pm, I finally met Farah outside the venue as there were some security problems on the first day. It was unbelievable for me to meet such a sweet, caring friend of mine. We met for about half an hour, talked on various issues and finally had to bid goodbye to each other and she hugged me( while she hugged me i was about to faint lol...it was such an warm hug and i enjoyed it :p ) and while bidding goodbye to each other she said " I LOVE U TOO MUCH..YOU ARE A DOLL..JUST MAKE YOUR PARENTS PROUD ALWAYS AND U WOULD BE LOVED BY EVERYONE ". THESE LINES ARE ALWAYS MY INSPIRATION.

This was my first meeting with her :)

As there were some issues on the first day, no shows were held. So I was the most luckiest, as I had an chance to meet her again for the second time. On 25th she called me and told me that u are invited tomorrow too. I was in tears, was so happy that i would be meeting my friend again..finally on 26th at 3pm I met her and met my friends Rajni and Ashish there too. Uff !! was so luckiest and the way she deals with thousands of people is simply amazing..hv no words again. She loves each and every tweeple of hers too much. And most importantly she remembers every one of us by our names. I was just shocked to see how sharp and long lasting her memory was !! And finally on 3rd may she started following me..i was too lucky to get all your love n hugs too :p .

My second meeting with her :)

Met my friends @Aashish_27, Farah, Me and my good friend @rajnisingh125

At last i would just say to all  my lovely friends that she is simply SUPERB and have no words to describe her..she has no attitude and such a down to Earth person. Love u Farah and " U ARE MY IDOL ". I am blessed to have u in my life...thank u Farah so mch for all this :)

Struggle

You may see me struggle
but you wont see me fall.
Regardless if I'm weak or not I'm going to stand tall.
Everyone says life is easy
but truly living it is not.
times get hard,
people struggle
& constantly get put on the spot.
I'm going to wear the biggest smile
even though I want to cry.
I'm going to fight to live
even though I'm destined to die.
and even though it's hard & I may struggle through it all.
you see me struggle...you will NEVER see me fall.

Happy Mother's Day

Moms are the sweetest gift from Gods to us. There is no way we can ever really thank our mother for all she does for us nevertheless we must make it a habit to keep reminding ourselves of the various sacrifices she made while raising us. Mothers' Day is the best time to say in words how much we love and care for our mum.

Mother's Day is special to all of us, isn't it? All of us look forward to this day to let our mummy dear know how special she is to us. But do you know just how this day came into existence; when was it first observed or who celebrated it first? If you don't, read on to know about the fabulous history of Mother's Day. You are sure to enjoy it.

The tradition of Mothers Day started with the ancient Greeks who celebrated their annual spring festival in honor of Rhea, the mother of many Gods and Goddesses in the Greek mythology. Ancient Romans too celebrated a spring festival by the name of Hilaria in honor of Cybele, a mother goddess, some 250 years before Christ was born.
Mother's Day is celebrated on second Sunday of May.The festival of Pâthâre Prabhu is celebrated on the same day only in Bombay and the Southern part of India . The Pathare prabhu caste always celebrates this holiday. It is based on a legend about a mother whose children kept dying after only one year of living and it has a very remote origin. Although it's also called "Mother's Day", it is unrelated to the modern celebration, which is copied from the US (second Sunday of May) and is celebrated in the whole country.

Here's a poem i wrote it a yr. back for her n thought to share it with all of u :)

A halo that reflects a life of
wisdom, kindness, and caring.
Eyes that sparkle with pride
and show how much she believes in you.
Shoulders that have been slept on
and wept on and
carried a world or two.
Arms that never run out of hugs.
Hands that know
just when to hold on
and when to let go.
A mind filled with amazing things,
from fairy tales to family tails
and long-ago stories of you.
A smile that can jump right into your heart
and warm you faster than hot chocolate.
A heart of gold
that holds more love
than you can possibly imagine.

I love u mom :)

Now have no more words to express my love but now my eyes are filled completely with the tears of joy that how lucky I am to have a great mummy :)

"My mom is a neverending song in my heart of comfort, happiness, and being.  I may sometimes forget the words but I always remember the tune." - Geetanjali Juneja

The Most Precious Gift ~ Your Friendship

Today while checking my mail, read a wonderful stroy and thought to share it with you all. Just wanted to inform you that this is not my piece, have just posted it. Hope u will like it.

One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school. His name was Kyle. It looked like he was carrying all of his books. I thought to myself, "Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday? He must really be a nerd."

I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on. As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him. They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him. He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes.

My heart went out to him. As I handed him his glasses, I said, "Those guys are jerks. They really should get lives." He looked at me and said, "Hey thanks!" There was a big smile on his face.

It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude.

I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived. As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before. He said he had gone to private school before now. I would have never hung out with a private school kid before. We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books. He turned out to be a pretty cool kid. I asked him if he wanted to play a little football with my friends. He said yes. We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him, and my friends thought the same of him.

Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again. I stopped him and said, "Boy, you are gonna really build some serious muscle with this pile of books everyday!" He just laughed and handed me half the books.

Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends. When we were seniors, we began to think about college. Kyle decided on Georgetown, and I was going to Duke. I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem. He was going to be a doctor, and I was going for business on a football scholarship.

Kyle was valedictorian of our class. I teased him all the time about being a nerd. He had to prepare a speech for graduation. I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak. Graduation day, I saw Kyle. He looked great. He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school. He filled out and actually looked good in glasses. He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him. Boy, sometimes I was jealous.

Today was one of those days. I could see that he was nervous about his speech. So, I smacked him on the back and said, "Hey, big guy, you'll be great!"

He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled. "Thanks," he said.

As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began. "Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years. Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach... but mostly your friends. I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them. I am going to tell you a story."

I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the story of the first day we met. He had planned to kill himself over the weekend. He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home.

He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile. "Thankfully, I was saved. My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable."

I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment. I saw his Mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile. Not until that moment did I realize its depth.

Never underestimate the power of your actions. With one small gesture you can change a person's life. For better or for worse. God puts us all in each other's lives to impact one another in some way. Look for God in others.

"Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly."

Live Life To The Fullest

Grow up with challenges
row the boat with practice
what you will get is
the life blossom.
None are the foes, none are the friends
but you are the one who is
either your foe or your friend.
Your goal should be alliteration
as to get the fascination
and the brazen world is your celebration.
Never play the haunting music of
othenticism
as it'll lead to criticism
legacy is all yours, if you live,
the world with opticism

It's a short poem with so much of deep meaning....do read it and let me know the feedback !
Thank you ! :)

Spiritual Education

"What sculpture is to a block of marble, education is to the soul."

In the past educators all over the world have placed tremendous stress on the intellectual & physical development of students. The result is that we have become human beings who are physically and intellectually superior. The amount of knowledge that we are gaining today is doubling at a much faster rate than it did previously. So we find that we have become very materialistic in our approach towsrds life.

To bring about the right kind of balance in the life today our educators need to lay equal emphasis on spiritual aspect of education.

Spirituality deals with developing the higher values of life and becoming a complete person. Spirituality means inculcating love in our heart irrespective of skin color, religion, or nationality.

It is important that spiritual and ethic values are taught properly in the school along with their syllabus. In our school, our teachers had taken a small but strong step to achieve this by introducing students to the process of meditators. Through meditators we not only develop the higher human values but we also realise our true selves and gain knowledge about our spiritual side.

So the true education is the one which develops all the three spheres of human personality i.e. physical, intellectual & spiritual. This will help our students to develop into a complete individual individual, who will always make good decisions that will benefit the entire humanity.

Does The Dream Come True

Standing in the middle of the mountain
up on me is falling snow
river of love is flowing
standing by my side, the women i know
when she holds me in her arms
the sun goes down and the night comes up high
she means so much to me..without her I cant survivie
When i open my eyes, I found myself all alone
scared of the dark and no one to hold

I have a question for you
does the dream come true
breathing in the air of love it feels so pure
see as far as you want to but will not see hate
anymore
tears of blood are not pouring, there is no need to cry
Because no longer fray anymore in which someone
dear can die

No need to close your eyes, no need to close your ears
Everything you don't want to see or hear has been
washed away in the past years
When i open my eyes, i found myself living living in the
world where hate and fray is above faith and love
I have a question for you
Do the dreams come true ?

This is my first poetry...do let me know how is it..
thanx :)
Regards to everyone !

"Your Life Is Not A Coincidence It's A Reflection Of You"

A son and his father were walking on the mountains. Suddenly, the son falls, hurts himself and screams : "aaaahhhh" !!!!  To his surprise, he hears a voice repeating somewhere in the mountain, "aaaahhhh" !!!!

Curious he yells : "Who are you?" and recieves the answer : "Who are you?" and then he screams to the mountains : "I admire you" the voice answers : "I admire you" . Angered at the response, he screams : "coward" and he recieves the same answer .

He looks to his father and asks, "What's going on ?"

The father smiles and says, "My son ! Pay attention."

Now, the man screams : "You are a champion" the voice answers : "You are a champion" the boy is surprised but is unable to understand.

The father explains "people call it ECHO, but in reality, this is LIFE. It gives you back everything you say or do. Our life is simply a reflection of our actions. If you want more love in this world, create more love in your heart. If you want more competence in your team, improve your competence. This relationship applies to everything, in all aspects of life. Life will give you back everything you have given to it." Further he said something to him which is the basic concept for living to the fullest i.e. "Your life is not a coincidence, it is a reflection on you."

Imagination Is Creativity

"Images of mind; create !
Thoughts unwind and relate.
Motivation is the soul of passion,
Hands frame and present in fashion.
Mind is logic and heart is emotion,
The combination of two,
make imagination aa good composition."

Albert Einstein said that 'Imagination is the greatest creative force in this universe.' Walt Disney was very clear that if he had not seen the Disneyland in his mind, the rest-of the world would not have seen it on this Earth. Only experiencing imagination, can lead to creativity. So adopt the ten Cs1 for a good creation.

Calibre - the capacity to create
Confidence - the trust in yourself
Competence - the effeciency
Clarity - the purity of expression
Creativity - giving shape to an expression
Conjugation - placing verbs to connect words
Communication - exchange information
Consonanace - perfection in sounds
Composition - presentation of invented material

The youth has a fully developed faculty of imagination but as we grow older and get into competitive oriented thoughts, they lose their gift to a large extent. We should not lose the imagination and keep visualizing and enhance the creativity.

Let the above steps help them make the images come true. Try them and they work ..

This was my first post..hope you all would like it n do comment it so that can i get inspired and write further...thanx :)
Regards !
